In the face of unprecedented global challenges due to COVID-19, School of the Woods extends wishes for health and safety to all of you.
Because of risks announced Monday, March 16, and in consensus with the school districts and independent schools in our greater Houston area, School of the Woods has suspended all classes, full day programs, and administrative operations, beginning Monday, March 23 and continuing through Friday, April 10, 2020.
The middle school and high school students began virtual learning on Monday, March 23.
Early childhood, elementary and upper elementary families and students received information by email on Friday, March 20, to support learning at home.
During the week of April 6, the situation regarding COVID-19 will be re-assessed to determine if classes will be suspended for an additional period of time. Plans for the days beyond April 10 will be announced with as much notice as possible.
