In case of bad weather or other emergency situations, please check this website or call the voice mail number (713-756-3919) for reports and instructions.


EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN

  • Parents may send expanded emergency instructions for contacts for children
    • information will be added to the current school records
  • School of the Woods is Connected to the Texas Emergency Network through the Texas Association Non-Public Schools and Texas Education Agency
  • School will Follow Police Instructions:
    • Spring Valley Police, 1025 Campbell Rd, 713-465-8323
    • Houston Police, 8400 Long Point, 713-222-3131
  • Evacuation Site: Unitarian Fellowship, 1504 Wirt, 713-686-5876
  • Extra water supply on both campuses.
  • School will be open as long as students are needing to be here.
  • Telephone contact, if phone land lines intact, will be available.
  • Telephone contact, if phone land lines not intact, school personnel have cell phones and school has 14 walkie-talkies for 2 mile range.
  • School has a Radio (battery powered with hand crank).
  • For chemical release, ventilation systems will be turned off and doors kept closed.
